Hi, I'm Maliha, the founder of Humanitarian Diaries, a platform dedicated to raising awareness of humanitarian issues and the realities faced by communities affected by conflict.
I hold an LLM in International Law, and my academic research has focused on the legal and humanitarian challenges arising from armed conflict, including international humanitarian law, human rights, and post-conflict recovery. Through my studies, I recognised a significant gap in public awareness and understanding of these issues, which inspired me to create Humanitarian Diaries.
My vision is to provide a platform where humanitarian writers, researchers, and advocates can share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives. I believe that storytelling and informed discussion have the power to educate, inspire compassion, and encourage meaningful action.
Above all, Humanitarian Diaries exists to amplify the voices of those too often unheard and to remind us that, even in the darkest of times, humanity must always come first.
